At Freedom Center we start with the premise that

Alcohol and drug dependency is a treatable disease

that affects all facets of an individuals’ life. This disease is caused by part(s) of a person not functioning in a healthy, balanced manner. In essence, the person has lost their inner balance—for inherent health and wholeness of life. If balance is resorted between the body, mind, heart and spirit, people can regain their freedom to choose a sober, healthy and fulfilling life.

We teach, coach and support participant’s on this journey back to wholeness and health with practical and realistic self mastery skills. We blend both traditional addiction technology with newer whole body sciences and therapies to achieve long term, successful recovery.

We stay abreast of the latest wellness treatment models and integrate these new and proven techniques into our program to increase participant’s success.

Founder, Laurence Freedom knows that to have a successful long term recovery, the whole person needs to experience greater health, joy and well being in addition to abstinence from mood altering substances. He was unable to find a traditional program that fully addressed the mind body connection.

Typical programs were not open to using the new data to enhance treatment outcomes by applying both traditional proven addiction treatment interventions and new neuroscience methodologies in helping addicts and alcoholics get clean and sober.

In 2000, unable to find such a program, Laurence created Freedom Center-an addiction treatment program that combines a new school of whole person treatment (mind, body, emotion and spirit)with old school understanding and treatment strategies. Taking the best of both worlds of addiction treatment, Laurence created a treatment environment that is exciting, common sense and successful.
